A man of manifold and staggering achievements, Hazrath Syed Shah Mohammed Yousuf Hassani o Hussaini Quadri is the founding leader of Al Mohiuddin Welfare Org (AMWO), an organization with branches and centres in more than Three State around countries, working for the promotion of peace and harmony between communities and the revival of spiritual endeavour based on the true teachings of Islam. Late Hazrath Syed Shah Mohammed Yousuf Nabera Quadri is a scholar of extraordinary proportions and an intellectual leader for all seasons. He is a living model of profound classical knowledge, intellectual enlightenment, practical wisdom, pure spirituality, love, harmony and humanism. He is well known for his ardent endeavour to strengthen bonds among people, by bringing them together through tolerance, dialogue, integration and education. He successfully bridges the past with his image of the future and finds convincing solutions for contemporary problems. He has been teaching Hadith, Tafsir, Fiqh, Theology, Sufism, Seerah, Islamic philosophy and many other rational and traditional sciences to thousands of people, including Ulema, scholars, Shuyukh, students, intellectuals and academics in the east and the west.

Peer o Murshed  was born on February 19, 1951 in the historical city of Hyderabad, India, and is the son of the great spiritualist and intellectual of his time ash-Shaykh Syed Shah Mohammed Afzal Quadri. He was educated from the young age in both the Islamic and secular sciences simultaneously. Although he had already started his religious education under his father two years earlier, his formal classical education was initiated in Daccan Hyderabad at the age of 12, in Madrasa Ashraful Madraris Hyd, which was situated in the blessed house of Sayyiduna Abu Mohammed Afzal Nabera Quadri Beyabani, the first residence of the Holy Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) after his migration. By the time he had received a First Class Honours Degree from the University of the osmania in 1964, he had also completed his Classical Islamic Studies, having spent over ten years under the tutelage of his father and other eminent Shuyukh of his time and achieving an unparalleled understanding of the classical shari‘a sciences and Arabic language.

Peer o Murshed Founded AL Mohiuddin Welfare Org in 1999 and established its headquarters in HYD. In less than 18 years, AMWO has expanded and spread over more than three State in countries; and in terms of its comprehensive and all-encompassing sphere of activities, educational, social, cultural and spiritual, Al Mohiuddin Welfare Org is probably one of the largest non-governmental organizations in india.

Peer o Murshed is founder and Chairman of the Board of AMWO HYD which is chartered by Government and is imparting higher education to thousands of students in the faculties of basic, modern, social, management and religious sciences. He is the founder of Al Mohiuddin Education Society which has established more than 10 schools and colleges in HYD. He is also the founding Chairman of Al Mohiuddin Welfare Foundation, a humanitarian and social welfare organization working globally. He is the founding leader of different forums of Minhaj-ul-Qur’an including Al Mohiuddin Women League, Al Mohiuddin Youth League, Mustafavi Students Movements and Muslim Christian Dialogue Forum.

AMWO Islamic centers have been established in Telangana,Karnataka, Delhi, AndhraPerdesh. It was purely organizational. He along with his delegations visited holy shrines in Delhi, Ajmeer Sharif, Warangal, Bider, and other places. He addressed hundreds of thousands of people in Deccan Hyderabad.

Upon the requests of the Karnataka Muslims, he visited Karnataka in September-October 2004. This visit broke all previous records of gatherings of Al Mohiuddin Welfare Org. He was given red carpet welcome in Delhi and Deccan Hyderabad. He visited many holy shrines and addressed hundreds of thousands of people.

He visited India in February-March 2012; it was a month-long tour. He launched his famous Speech on Terrorism and Suicide Bombing and addressed mammoth public gatherings in prominent cities. Hundred of thousands of people turned up to listen to his speeches. His audience in Warangal was unprecedented. The subjects he spoke on during this tour included concept of intermediation in Islam, Principles of Hadith, Terrorism is alien to Islam, Enmity with Friends of Allah an open war against Allah Almighty, Islam forms a multi-faith, cosmopolitan society and several other topics. Wherever he went, people came out in millions to see his glimpse. It was a heavy downpour when audience in millions remained spell bound and did not even move.

The founding leader Syed Mohammad Yousuf Nabera Quadri stated: “The primary aim of the Al-Mohiuddin Welfare Organization is to bring about a comprehensive and multidimensional change in the society which at the same time ends the academic and ideological deadlock and revive, once again, the exterminated moral and spiritual values (of Islam), and also exalt the Muslim Umma to an admirable and respectful status among the comity of nations by a continuous struggle based on glorious foundation laid down by the Holy Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) on the universal principals of Love, Peace and Knowledge.” AMWO is not a movement based on just imaginary and impracticable ideology and philosophy but, on the contrary, is based on a comprehensive and practicable ideology. Its leadership has not only introduced the ideology but also provided a detailed strategy to be practically put into practice. Moreover, it aims at reviving the true values and principles of Islam, eliminating the social, cultural, ideological, moral, spiritual, economical, legal and political decline of Muslim Umma in particular and the whole mankind in general. Love, peace, harmony, universal brotherhood, justice, equity and prosperity lie only in the revival of these values. With this well-defined goal fixed, the {AMWO} has laid down four major objectives to achieve.

Al-Mohiuddin Welfare Organization, a india-based international organization working to promote peace, tolerance, interfaith harmony and education, tackle extremism and terrorism, engage with young Muslims for religious moderation, promote women’s rights, development and empowerment, and provide social welfare and promotion of human rights. In order to promote and propagate true Islamic teachings and philosophy, revive Islamic sciences, and for the moral and spiritual uplift of Muslim Umma, dissatisfied with the existing religious institutions and organizations and their narrow-minded approach, Syed Mohammad Yousuf Quadri founded in 2001 and established its headquarters in Hyderabad t.s. India. Vigorously pursuing its well-defined objectives and spreading its comprehensive and all-encompassing sphere of activity, including welfare, education, promotion of love culture and spiritual uplift all over the world, it is probably one of the largest non-political, non-sectarian non-governmental organizations in the world. Since its establishment on 06th February 2001, it has rapidly grown and, within less than 15 years, its organizational network has expanded to more than 7 city in the countries. {AMWO} is unmatchable for its rapid growth and no contemporary religious or political organization or movement has spread our country in such a short span of time.
